A Learning Community That Develops Leaders
The Academy intentionally builds diverse cohorts that reflect the future of higher education—across roles, identities, and career paths. Fellows expand their perspectives, deepen their leadership practice, and build lasting relationships grounded in trust and belonging. Each Fellow contributes to and benefits from a community committed to both personal growth and institutional transformation.
Cost
Tuition for the program is $9,900 for 2026-27. Participants are expected to have the endorsement of their institutions, which is reflected in financial support.
What is included with tuition fee?
- Instruction and materials. The program consists of in person and virtual instruction where the skills as a leader are developed to cultivate innovation and lead transformational change.
- Individualized Coaching. Each fellow is supported by a leadership and innovation coach in group and one-to-one sessions for a total of up to 10 hours of coaching over the course of the program.
- Peer Support. As part of the coaching, fellows participate in peer-learning groups during the program. This allows participants to understand innovations from other campuses and use the power of the group on their own leadership journey.
- Access to Innovative Leaders. Modules include speakers that provide access to higher education leaders via conversations and Q & A sessions.
- Meals. Breakfast and lunch are provided during the in-person modules. Each module includes one Fellows dinner.
Travel related expenses to and from Washington, D.C., and Phoenix are the responsibility of the Fellow and are not covered by tuition.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. In the past we have been able to provide scholarships to assist with tuition. Scholarship requests are honored when possible. Please note on your application if you require such assistance in order to participate.
